The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Police need help identifying a person(s) of interest in the killing and wasting of two cow elk, behind Truck Town Diner in King County the weekend of December 14, 2019.
Officers located the first cow elk with an arrow sticking out of it but no meat taken. While examining this animal they noticed a second elk farther into the field.
Someone partially processed the second animal because they took quarters and backstraps but left everything else to waste. The perpetrator(s) shot this elk with archery equipment that matched the first elk. Additional scouting in the area turned up a third cow elk also shot with an arrow and left to waste. The third arrow and broad head were different from the first two.
