Mark Thonhoff, a wildlife biologist in the BLM Pinedale Field Office, discusses this recently discovered 150 mile migration, and the role of the BLM in preserving the corridor.This migration route was identified as part of the Wyoming Migration Initiative, a large-scale effort to identify and map ungulate migrations in the state and use the science to influence land use planning, educate the public, and more. RMEF is funding both the science and the distribution of information as well as a contribution for the exhibit at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody.
